Hershey Sportszone

ZAS developed an extensive overall master plan that established a wayfinding program and guidelines that assure the new brands consistent application at each of the facilities within the campus.

The Hershey Sportszone is a sports campus situated on 160 acres of parkland in North East Mississauga that includes the Hershey Centre, an award winning sports and entertainment arena, Hershey community arena complex, Hershey Sportzone international caliber sports complex, Iceland and four artificial soccer fields. Based on the original Hershey Centre wordmark, ZAS developed an extensive overall master plan that established a wayfinding program and guidelines that assure the new brands consistent application at each of the facilities within the campus. The wayfinding program uses a system of custom pictograms, colour and clear typography to guide the user through the sportspark and define the parks boundaries. The wayfinding system has over 300 components and relies on a series of sign types that include maps, directories, parking signs, pylons, building identity elements, and interior signage that helps guide visitors to their specific destination.
