Beaty Branch Library

With a new visual brand and façade signage it has become a visual anchor in the community.

The creation of this 11,300 s.f. new branch library represents the first step in the creation of a multi-branch system within the municipality. The sign program is carefully integrated in the architecture, combining graphics, signs and information screens. The colourful palette, bold typography and icons help communicate with the visually impaired, assist users to explore individual spaces within the facility and intuitively guides people towards major destinations. With a new visual brand and façade signage it has become a visual anchor in the community. The success of the signage program led to its implementation in the Town’s Central Library and subsequent branch libraries.
