Canada Pavilion – EXPO2020 Proposal

The scenography: «The future by nature», a flow of images in the heart of the Pavilion: natures and men. Diversity of geography and people, progressive governance and ideas, resource management and sustainability

Canadian traditions and belief systems regard nature with deep respect, imparting a strong sense of place and belonging. This sustains way of life that
matches up well with modern notions of nature conservation and sustainable living. Canada’s intent to systematically integrate environmental sustainability into all aspects of its development work – particularly in relation to climate change, urbanization, land degradation and access to clean water, has been well adapted in the pavilion design to showcase its sustainability values.

The decor of this space is entirely composed in digital image that gives the viewer the feeling of diving, this time, into the infinitely small, the cellular universe. It “tells” how Canada, inspired by its nature and its people, innovates in biotechnology and biodiversity and presents its most advanced innovations and research.
