Soheil shopping center Design competition

As a design competition finalist, our concept design for the Soheil Mall is located on the prominent Soheil Street in Iran overlooking the Alborz mountains.

As a design competition finalist, our concept design for the Soheil Mall is located on the prominent Soheil Street in Iran overlooking the Alborz mountains and provides access to the Sadr Highway connecting east to the west of Tehran. With a difference of 25 meters in the top and bottom levels of the site, it allows for street level access to the 2nd basement hypermarket.

The design takes into account the unique mountain views and shapes by setting back the entrance from the street, providing open terraces overlooking the North Mountains and allows for uninterrupted 360 degree panoramic views of Tehran City on the roof. The atrium cone design allows for better observation views of all retail levels and by creating a reverse pyramid volume of the corridors it provides larger walkways on the lower levels, added visibility from the upper levels and directs more light inside the complex during the day. The state of the art shopping complex and cultural facility includes cinemas, children playgrounds, restaurants, a fitness centre and levelled parking.

The levelled parking gives direct access to each floor, encouraging and adding to the value of the upper levels of the complex. (in joint venture with Iran Arch Consulting Architects)
